Madrid
Virgen extra / Madrid
Located in the heart of Madrid, a few meters from the Royal Palace, near the River Manzanares, there is the office of Virgen extra / Madrid. An ideal place to walk, think and talk about how we can collaborate together.
Sebastian Cangiano
Strategic Director
What do you call the ability to make sense of confusion and complexity only to convert it into a simply human, thoughtful, and powerful message? What’s the word for the magic that happens in a conference room when a company recognizes the strategic value of its true identity? We have no idea, but that’s what Sebas spends his days doing. A graduate in Publicity and Communication Science, Sebas started his career at Draft Direct (Chicago, USA) in 1996. Before founding Virgen extra, he was part of some of the most influential direct marketing agencies: Iberoamerica, Dipaola & asoc. (where he was named Creative Director at 26, the youngest in agency history), CP comunicacion proximity, and Shackleton. His work as Creative Director at Shackleton stands out as he managed the communication strategies for clients such as BMW, Mini, and Cepsa, among others. During his time at Shackleton, he received over 40 national and international awards. If for any reason you find yourself looking for Sebas, he’ll be the one that never sits down.

Ismael Medina
Creative Director
You could say that Isma took the saying ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’ to heart. The reach of his visual language redefines what it means for businesses to communicate, and we think we are all better for it. As a graduate in Visual Arts and Communication from Tracor Arts School, Ismael began his career as a graphic designer working on brands such as Gonzalez Byass, Puertos del Estado and Knight Frank. In 2002, he moved to Valencia in order to develop and implement the graphic project of l’Oceanografic in the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. He then became part of EHS Brann Madrid for the brand implementation for Barclaycard in Spain. In 2004, he transitioned to Shackleton as Creative Supervisor, managing accounts such as BMW, Mini, and Cepsa, among others, and obtaining over 40 national and international awards. Ismael was recently nominated by the Asociación Andaluza de Diseñadores (AAD) for the Premio Trayectoria Profesional in its 1º Edition of the ADD Awards. Don’t be surprised if he insists on discussing flamenco culture.
